Last year Chelsea Klukas contacted me about my Holga photography. She was putting together a book of photographers from around the world who used toy cameras. I was very excited and organized a selection of images to submit. The book was ready ages ago but I just got around to ordering my own copy before Christmas. It was self published using Lulu and I was quite impressed at the quality and how it all turned out. Good job Chelsea!
This years Rocky Mountain Rally was much more enjoyable day than last year as the weather was %1000 better with not a drop of rain!
I only got out for the Saturday but I had a good time, met some good folks and got some good photos I think.
One of my favorite (paved) roads is the Bow Valley Parkway west of Banff. It is a lovely road to drive and reminds me of old highways from my youth. Barely two lanes wide (sometimes one) trees right at the edge of the pavement.
I’ve never really given the commonly sighted mountain sheep much notice, just slowed down and got around them. But on this day we were already stopped and they wander onto the road so we watched them for a while. Fairly amusing critters, I won’t count them out so easily next time!
Back in December the ol’ bisbing.com favorite Rebecca (lotus) was in town so we set out with no real plans to take some photos. After digging around at Cats Eye vintage we had an outfit and we set off to find some locations. It was a fun time!
Last fall on the way back from photographing a wedding in Vancouver we stopped for a night in Jasper and took the time to tour the area a bit in the morning.
I hung a few pinups in the Calgary Tattoo Convention group show last fall. Nothing sold… I was sad.
Into last fall I spend a very nice few days driving around southern Alberta and BC. A few images have made it up here but there are always more to share!

Last summer while visiting my parents we went to catch one of my Fathers softball games. These photos got a bit lost but I wanted to get them up here for my pops!
PDN (Photo District News) holds a Wedding Photography contest every year called Top Knots. This year I entered and was printed in the magazine! I am really excited about this, and I think the image printed pretty darn well.
The photo is from Susie and Drew’s wedding this past summer. It was a really fun day that got us access to a quiet Fort Edmonton Park.
