My friend Rebecca visited Calgary a little while ago, and we found an evening to make some photographs.

It was an extra fun time, and my first time to really play with my new 50mm 1.4f!

I just found out an old friend from college passed away this week.

We lost track of Jason almost right after school, as with so many people who became close friends, life goes on and we all went our seperate ways. I remember sitting beside Jason having a lot of laughs and not getting a heck of a lot done in the back of Paul’s class as he made ridiculous drawings instead of whatever we were supposed to be paying attention too.

My heart goes out to Jason’s family and friends.

To all the people I have remained close to since college, I trully appreciate the friendship and adventures we have been on.
